About FiCombinator

Hey there! I'm Emile, and my tech career has been on an adventure. Back in 2008, I joined Yelp, and in 2012, I founded Tindie. With funding from top-notch investors like Andreessen Horowitz, I sold Tindie in 2015 and joined Netflix in 2016. Throughout this roller coaster ride, I've mentored nearly 100 students and founders through the UNC Chapel Hill Computer Science Department and various accelerators. It’s been a blast!

But one thing I've noticed is how many people, including myself at first, struggle to grasp the financial side of the tech world.
